Canamera works diligently toward continuous improvement of their HSE program, to do this, Top Management reviews Canamera HSE trends on an annual basis.

SAFETY PERSONNEL

Canamera Coring’s HSE Advisor oversees Project Safety Plans, Safe Work Plans, and the administration of Safety Procedures for all projects, as well as supports onsite personnel who ensure these procedures are implemented.

The HSE Advisor also ensures all incidents are recorded and reported, promptly and accurately. All incidents are tracked for company statistics.

Canamera Coring also provides modified work programs that provide meaningful alternate activities are available to the employee, client, and company. Some alternate work may include training.

Canamera is committed to ensuring all employees have the training, equipment and procedures necessary to work safely with ‘zero’ incidents or injuries. At Canamera, safety is not just a procedure; it is also the way we do business.

PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT
Canamera Coring is continuously improving our current safety and loss prevention programs and proactively developing new ones.

Canamera Coring’s safety culture is supported by senior management and is the foundation from which additional, essential safety program elements are developed and implemented; from Commitment and Involvement to Incident Management and Investigation, our HSE program is divided into seven sections.

Commitment & Involvement:
Level of support Management offers towards HSE which is documented in policies, general responsibilities and manual evaluation.

Hazard Identification & Communication:
The identification, assessment, control and communication of HSE hazards and potential risk on all Canamera work sites.

Rules & Procedures:
Work procedures informing personnel, contractors and visitors about safety expectations and standards on Canamera work sites.

Emergency Preparedness:
Procedures to ensure prompt, organized and effective response to emergencies.

Communications:
The documentation and methods used to properly communicate safety information to personnel.

Training & Orientation:
System to ensure all personnel, contractors and visitors have the proper skills and necessary information to meet HSE expectations on a work site.

Health and Safety Incident Management & Investigation:
The procedures for reporting and investigating accidents and incidents for the purpose of preventing recurrence.
